Another 5G Realme X7 series phone passes BIS certification in India ahead of 2021 launch
Realme India & Europe Director Madhav Sheth has already confirmed that the Realme X7 series will arrive in India in 2021. And while this is the ultimate confirmation we can get now, clues have started to emerge. The latest is Realme X7, codename RMX2176 spotted in India’s BIS certification database. This not only confirms the arrival of the handset in India, but also suggests that the launch could take place as early as January of next year.
Sheth also suggested that the Realme X7 series may see a wider launch at a later date. Details are not yet known, however.
With Realme X7, the company’s goal is to put 5G connectivity in the hands of more customers. It should be added that this is not the first time that we have seen a Realme X7 series handset pass the BIS certification. According to a tipster, Realme X7 Pro 5G has also achieved certification. This was before the CEO gave confirmation.
On the back, it has a familiar rectangular camera module with a setup consisting of 64-megapixel, 8-megapixel, 2-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. For performance, it runs on a Dimensity 1000+ processor paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. A 4500mAh battery paired with a 65W SuperDart Flash charge powers the phone.
Note that the phone specifications are for the Chinese model. The company may or may not make changes to the phone when it launches in India.
